This year marks to 150th anniversary of the first Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals in Australia. Now know as the Royal Society for the prevention of Cruelty to Animals (RSPCA), it originated with a public meeting in Melbourne on 4 July 1871 to discuss the ill treatment of horses. By the mid-20th century all states and territories has such societies, with the national body - RSPCA Australia - formally constituted in 1980.
The stamp and coin cover features an illustrated envelope featuring a horse. It also includes an Australian $1.10c commemorative stamp and is post marked First Date of Issue 19th October 2021, Burwood East VIC 3151. The coin's obverse features a dog along with the RSPCA Logo & inscription "150 Years".
