2015 Our Solar System Spinning Medallion Limited Edition PNC
Our Solar System is our local neighborhood in space. With the Sun at its centre, the Solar System consists of eight planets: Mercury, Venus, Earth and Mars are the small, rocky planets of the inner Solar System, while beyond the asteroid belt lie the gas giants Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune. In addition, there are dwarf planets, like Pluto, which lies beyond Neptune. This cover, which is limited in number to 2,000, includes a novelty medallion of the Sun and planets. Of course, it is not to scale in reality, the Sun is a million times larger and Jupiter a thousand times larger than our planet Earth!
